This policy explains what personal data ATOBU (“we”, “us”) collects through atobu.tech, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We follow Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us. The website does not use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising tools, and we never sell your data.

2. What we collect
When you request a site survey (contact form): your name, company name, email address, building type and your message.
When you join our newsletter: your email address.
When you email, call or WhatsApp us: your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you visit the website: our server and security software automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use this only to keep the site running and protect it from attacks.
We do not ask for NRIC numbers or other sensitive personal data. Please don’t send them to us.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site survey and prepare a quote.
- To deliver and manage the work if you become a client.
- To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We only use your data for these purposes, or for other purposes we tell you about and you agree to.
4. Your consent
By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to us using your data for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing website@atobu.tech. We will stop within 10 business days. If you withdraw, we may not be able to continue helping with your enquiry.
5. Newsletter
We only email the newsletter to people who signed up. Every issue tells you how to unsubscribe. You can also email website@atobu.tech with the subject “Unsubscribe” at any time. We will not send marketing messages to Singapore phone numbers without the consent required under the PDPA’s Do Not Call rules.
6. Cookies
atobu.tech does not set any cookies for visitors. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner. Website administrators who log in receive essential login cookies only.
If you click our WhatsApp or Google Maps buttons, you leave our site, and Meta (WhatsApp) or Google’s own privacy policies then apply.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Website hosting: our website runs on our own server in Singapore.
- Email: our email provider stores and delivers our messages.
- Backups: website backups are stored in Google Drive.
- Security: our website firewall checks visitors’ IP addresses against known threats.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
8. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside Singapore. When that happens, we take steps to ensure your data receives protection comparable to the PDPA, for example by using reputable providers bound by data protection terms.
9. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, and client project records for as long as needed for the work and our legal and accounting obligations. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.
10. How we protect it
We use HTTPS encryption, a website firewall, strong passwords, restricted admin access and regular backups. No system is completely secure, but if a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
11. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used in the past year;
- correct any data that is wrong or incomplete;
- stop using your data (withdraw consent).
Email website@atobu.tech. We will reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
12. Children
Our services are for businesses and building owners. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
